TAXES & DUTIES

USA

New York sales tax (8.875%) is added to orders shipped to addresses within New York State. No sales tax is charged on the purchase of a Gift Card.

International

For orders shipped outside of the U.S. please consult the customs legislations of your country. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. We cannot declare the value of a package as anything other than its retail value. We cannot mark shipments as gifts. International customers are responsible for customs fees. Thank you for your understanding.

CHANGING OR CANCELING YOUR ORDER

We strive to get your order to you as quickly as possible, we can only accept changes made to orders within 30 minutes of placing the order. We will try our best to accommodate modifications to your order however; we cannot guarantee these changes will be made after your order is submitted. Cancellations must be made within 1 hour of placing the order.

PROMOTIONAL CODES

Promotional codes must be entered into the “discount code" section at checkout for us to validate them. Only one code can be used on a purchase. No cash value. Not valid on gift cards. Promotional codes cannot be applied to purchases made before the discount was offered, nor can they be retroactively applied after an order has been placed. Promotions cannot cross-applied or combined between two websites (littionary.com / littionary.etsy.com). Thank you for understanding our guidelines for using promotional codes.

GIFT ORDERS

We will ship multiple items in the same gift packaging.

If the items are being given as individual gifts - Please let us know in the 'Special Instructions' box available on the Shopping Cart page during check out if the item(s) you purchased need individual gift wrap or a personal message. We can also send gifts straight to a recipient, Just enter in the gift recipient's name and address in the 'shipping address' section during check out instead of your own.

ADD-ON CHARM SERVICE FOR MONOGRAMMED + PERSONALIZED ORDERS 

Here at LITTIONARY, we go that extra mile to help you customize your charm necklace! When adding additional charms with a charm necklace in the same order, please indicate if you'd like the charm attached to the necklace in the order, or separate. If not specified, each item will be packaged separately. Simply leave us a note in the “Special Instructions” box to request this service.

LITTIONARY GIFT CARD

  • Choose how much you would like to give.
  • Add the recipient's name, email address and a personal message (optional).
  • The Gift Card will be emailed directly into your recipient’s inbox.

Coupons and discounts cannot be applied to Gift Card purchases.

Sales tax will not be applied to Gift Card purchases. If other item is included in your order, tax will apply only to those items. LITTIONARY will not be responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards. LITTIONARY Gift Cards are non refundable and cannot be transferred, exchanged or resold and cannot be redeemed for cash.

We're excited to offer flat-rate shipping to both domestic and international destinations via USPS. Please see below for details regarding our shipping policy and applicable shipping guidelines.

CURRENT PRODUCTION LEAD TIME

Our current production lead time for most orders is 2-3 business days (excluding custom/ special order items). Orders with engravable items may take an additional business day to process.

You will receive an email to confirm your purchase, and a second email with a tracking number when your order has been shipped.

US DELIVERY TIME + COST

We ship to all 50 states; Washington, DC; U.S. P.O. Boxes; U.S. territories; and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. Shipped and delivered by USPS.

International Standard Shipping is not available for orders over $400.

All quoted USPS delivery times are an estimate, excluding delays due to customs. If you track your item and the status shows it is with customs, please note we cannot intervene, but your local postal service should deliver your item promptly upon release.

UAE Customers
Please include your PO BOX, so your package is deliverable.

BE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ADDRESS

If there is an issue with your address and your order has already been shipped, unfortunately there is nothing we can do to correct the address. If the package is returned to us, we will contact you with instructions for reshipment. Please be advised that we cannot reship until the original package is returned to us. Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping information. Deliveries will be made according to those order specifications.

Returns & Warranties

We love our products, and we hope you do to! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may contact us within 7 days of receiving an item(s) that you wish to return*. All items must be in original, new and unworn condition in the original packaging. We will provide instruction and a Returns Authorization (RA) number. All items returned should have a RA number.

Once you have been issued an RA#, please make sure that your item is returned as soon as possible - Return products must be shipped back to us within 10 days from the date the RA was issued to you.

*The following items can't be returned or exchanged

  • Custom made items (including bracelets and necklaces - see Alteration Service)
  • Personalized items.
  • Special order items.
  • Silk material, wire hoop earrings, threader earrings (for health/hygiene reasons) 
  • Final sale items (a discount more than 20% off its regular price)

If you received free shipping, the cost of standard shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.

Please note that refund is calculated based on the merchandise value only. Shipping charges including any fees such as Customs Duty/ VAT are not credited.

WARRANTY

We stand by our products and include a six month warranty with every order. We will gladly repair or replace (same or comparable) defective items, at our option, within this period. Our warranty does not cover general wear & tear or lost stones. To initiate a repair, please include a photo, order number and a detailed description to contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

Please note final-sale, wire jewelry, silk items and products purchased elsewhere are not covered under this warranty.

ALTERATION SERVICE

Each bracelet/ necklace is custom made upon order to the size you select. If you didn't order the correct size, please see below:

Please contact us to arrange for an alteration service. We offer minor alterations on sizing at a reasonable fee (labor cost for adjusting the length and material). Please contact us to further discuss the cost.

Our size guides

BRACELET SIZING

Use a tape measure. Wrap the tape measure around the wrist on which you plan to wear your bracelet. Make a note of the number at the point where the tape meets the 0. If your wrist falls between quarter inch increments, round up to the nearest quarter inch.

  • Add 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch to your base wrist measurement for a snug fitting.
  • Add 3/4 inch to 1 inch for a comfortable standard fit.
  • Add 1 1/4 inch for a looser fit.

NECKLACE LENGTHS

The size will depend on the style of necklace and your preferred fit.

Choker (14-16 in./ 36-41 cm)
The necklace would fall around the base of the neck. A wide open neckline or a strapless top would look best with a choker necklace.

Princess (17-19 in./ 43-48 cm)
The most common necklace length is 18 inches and would fall at the collarbone.

Matinee (20-24 in./ 51-61 cm)
The necklace would be at or below the neckline.

Opera (28-36 in./ 71-90 cm)
This necklace can be worn as a single long strand or can be wrapped twice as a double strand.
